On this tour you will travel overland on the friendship highway crossing Himalayan ranges, and the stay overnight at the world's highest Monastery "Rongbuk " and then drive back to Zhangmu. If there is time, you can also trek from Rongbuk Monastery to Base Camp early in the morning, a distance of 8kms (2hrs). From there you will get a spectacular view of Everest.
Tour Itinerary
Day01: Drive to Zhangmu China Custom and make the registration and drive to Nyalam O/H Nyalam GH
Day02: Acclimatization and walk around
Day03: Drive to Tingri,On the Thangla pass you can get wonderful view of Himalayan ranges,Specially Mt.Shisha Pangma and before Old Tingri 40km from where you can get lovely view of highest peaks on the world, such as Mt.Everest,Mt.Cho Oyu,Mt.Lhotse O/H GH
Day04: Drive to Rongbuk Monastery and afernoon hiking to Basecamp which takes 2hrs O/H GH
Day05: Drive to Nyalam O/H GH
Day06: Drive to Zhangmu / Exit to Nepal
