Tserpu Monastery is located in Toelong Dechen county, 70km by road from Lhasa. A wild and scenic though light trek of 3-4 days through beautiful landscape takes you from Tserpu to Yangbachen. Yangbachen is the biggest source of hot-springs in Tibet and you also get a good view of Mt. Nyincheng Thangla from there, the highest mountain in the Namtso area.

From Tserpu acrosses Lassarla (5330m),then winds through the series of remote valleys to the seldom-visited Dorjeling Ani Gompa.The trek ends at Yangbacheng Monastery.Set in the vast Yangbachen Valley at the foot of the Mt.Thangla.
